# I’ve got up and noticed this one of my Elephants leaves is covered.…

I’ve got up and noticed this one of my Elephants leaves is covered. The others are fine. I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help?

I had something similar happen to my Alocasia. Turns out it was edema caused by inconsistent watering, followed by too much water. The spotting on the leaves will not recover.

What helped my plant was allowing it to heal and being more consistent with watering, since Alocasias like stable-consistency.

I have an alocasia that also started doing that. I thought it was because of the chemical spray I would use in the bathroom (where it is/ like a chemical burn). But it did have inconsistent waterings before it finally found its new home with better lighting and hopefully a better watering schedule
