Recently got string of turtles. The plant looked amazing when it come. However, loads of leaves dropped off, thought this was probably normal for this plant. But I go to repot it and the soil is DRENCHED. So I have repotted it. Week later like 1/3 of the plant has just turned dark and squishy like it’s been over watered. I have not watered this plant and have only misted it every few days? Can someone please help me. I feel like it is shock from that big water, new home, repot…

The roots are rotting. You need to remove all the old soil \& rotted roots, and treat with hydrogen peroxide. See what you’re working with and go from there. Post pics
