# My monstera seems to be very healthy, even has a new leaf coming in!…

My monstera seems to be very healthy, even has a new leaf coming in! But there’s one singular completely yellow leaf. Lol. Does anyone know what causes this/if it’s a problem? The leaf next to it seems to be getting lighter too.

sometimes a monstera will drop its “sucker” leaves as it’s producing new growth!! it does look like your soil seems freshly watered, if not it could be an overwatering issue. i would make sure the soil is drying as it should just to prevent root rot from happening, but happy for you for the new growth!!! you got this!!!!

I haven’t watered her in awhile, just misting! And thank you for the help and info ☺️🌿

The dark part in the photo is actually a black plastic pot inside the new one LOL I gotta repot her
