# Hello!! I’m struggling with my manjula pothos where there is brown…

Hello!! I’m struggling with my manjula pothos where there is brown spots all over the leaves to a new discoloration on the leaves with yellow spots. I don’t know what to do exactly for there is so much going on and I want to save my plant:( I am not sure if there is a bacterial or fungus infection in the soil that is causing the yellowing or if I’m under watering to cause the brown spots… I’m at a loss. Here are some photos for reference!

I had those yellow spots on mine at one point, I ended up moving it rooms and becoming more consistent with my watering and it went away so I can’t exactly tell you but maybe try a little more or less light and see if that helps

How often are you watering?

I water it about every 7-8 days

That may still be too frequent - I water my Pothos every couple of weeks. I would check her roots to get a better idea of what the issue might be.

Water it when the soil is almost completely dry and not by a schedule to prevent overwatering and under watering.

Add a grow light within one foot of it or move to a sunny window protected from burning with curtain sheets. Manjula needs more light than the standard pothos to keep it looking healthy by producing white variegation.

Fertilize biweekly with 50% diluted fertilizer. Reduce fertilizing in colder months if growth slows. Fertilizer produces darker areas needed for photosynthesis.

Ensure the humidity levels are above 50% to help prevent dry spots. 🪴🍀
