# Hi plant people! Just found a whole lot of mold growing on my African…

Hi plant people! Just found a whole lot of mold growing on my African violet. Going to repot her this evening - would really appreciate any tips. I'm planning to change the soil, wash the pot and the roots of the plant, spray the roots and base with a hydrogen peroxide solution and hope for the best. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Also remove mold from the cut down leaves and smudge the cut with activated coal..that's what I usually do to disinfect cuttings

Mold is also usually caused from overwatering, if that helps
