# This bird’s nest fern was bought in Sept 24. Almost killed it once…

This bird’s nest fern was bought in Sept 24. Almost killed it once but now seems to be doing pretty good. My question is: Do I have to bury the roots below the soil? It has pushed itself up again and there are no roots coming out of bottom of nursery pot. Thank you much in advance.

I think it's fine for now but when you repotted I would bring the soil up to the base of the plant.

That should be when you repot it then bring the soil level more even with the base of the plant.
