# Help needed! I transplanted this neglected jade around 3 months ago…

Help needed! I transplanted this neglected jade around 3 months ago and mistakenly watered it in right away. I thought it would be fine if I waited another month before watering again, but the plant has continued to produce these black spotty leaves. Admittedly when I transplanted I didn’t take all the old soil off the roots because it was so top heavy. I gave it a prune last month and it has put out a ton of new growth. Should I just wait it out or do I need to go in and get all that old soil off?

I would wait another week or so and if the issue continues, I would give it some new soil. I hope this helps!
