Hey guys! First post in this group ☺️ my auntie has this china doll plant and for the past little while she’s been complaining of it dying, losing stems and getting crispy leaves almost as if they got burned but that’s not possible. How can we fix this? We’ve tried different lighting, watering schedules and still no idea!! Please help us!

How often do you water

#### Britt Brat respondió el 2025-07-20

I think she waters once the top 2 layers of soil is dry

I would try letting her dry out fully she looks overwatered also I definitely would not put her on a strict watering schedule because this can cause to overwatering

We will try that!

Did the lighting change? It is possible for plants to scorch, especially if their lighting is abruptly increased.

No not since we found a safe spot! I’ll have to tell my aunt to move her to a less bright place maybe??

I'd try it. I have a few plants i have to move out of windows in summer, as they get scorched if I leave them. Over watering is usually indicated by yellowing around the edges, that can turn brown. But usually if its dry and crisp its sun scorching on a green plant.
