I noticed my Lady Valentine wasn’t doing as well as I hoped. The bottom leaves were fading. I dug through the soil to find two smaller pots within the self watering pot. Never repotted since purchasing a few months ago. Roots look really healthy though!

ugh yeah those little root cages 😖 so annoying — that’s definitely what was giving you trouble. this plant is going to be so happy to be free of those weird shoes!
