# Hey does anyone know what’s going on with my lucky bamboo? Planta…

Hey does anyone know what’s going on with my lucky bamboo?

Planta said it was in too bright of a spot so I just moved it but I’m curious if the leaves with the brown spots are from something else?

Also is the water and rock level okay? I’m not sure if the little stump is supposed to be above or under water…

I’d say it needs more light and some fertilizer. This\* is what I use for mine even the water cultivars. As far as the stumps; my daughter has one completely submerged in her axolotl tank so it can be underwater.

Sunlight - Nutrients - Water  
Are essential for chlorophyll production which is the food/sugar for the plant and the green color in leaves. If the green is lacking that means one or more of the 3 essentials is lacking.
