# Hey y’all, I have this dendrobium orchid that overall seems healthy…

Hey y’all, I have this dendrobium orchid that overall seems healthy if maybe a bit over-sunned. Long story short, this was intended to be a short term placement for it during some home improvements we’re doing, so eventually it will go back to its home with less light. In the meantime, it has developed this, but I’m not sure if it’s some sort of pest or a sign of too much light. Or maybe it’s part of its natural cycle. Those black spots are hard, not scraping off. Can’t seem to find anything about this online. Any experienced orchid growers know? I know orchids are sensitive, so I don’t want to make any further changes to its environment unless I have to.

Thanks, that’s what I was worried about. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of them…
