# I took some better pictures of this ”thing” on my schismatoglottis…

I took some better pictures of this  
”thing” on my schismatoglottis “red sword”. I figured out that the plant is droopy because of too much draft or too much sun, so I‘ve fix that. But, WHAT IS THIS GROWTH ON MY PLANT? it has doubled in size since the last progress report. I think it is something NASTY. 🤢

Cut that leaf off right now! If it’s fungus and it hasn’t spread yet the plant might still be viable. Good luck 🍀

Unfortunately, I returned this rather expensive plant to the store from where I bought him. I am afraid they may not take the time to treat him. I felt guilty taking him back, but was afraid my other plants (and I have lots!), might catch what apparently is a fungus! So sad… 😭

FYI, the store was Wilco. I think their plants are expensive, but sometimes when you see something cute, you gotta get it! Plus, if you have a receipt, Wilco is great in returning things, plants included.😊💚🪴
