# Having some issues with my snake plant here, some leaves look great…

Having some issues with my snake plant here, some leaves look great and others not so much. I don’t water this guy to often but seems like some leave are “breaking away” at the bottom

Any tips?

They kind of look like mechanical damage to me, like it got torn or something. In that case, it’s annoying but nothing to worry about. It doesn’t sound like they are but if the leaves are turning mushy at the bottom at all, you probably need to do a repot to treat some overwatering issues- Tanner the Planter has helpful videos on youtube showing how to do so.

Thank you! We did recently move so that might have happened (had friends help me move all my plants) and I’ll definitely take a look at his videos!
