# What more can I do to fight thrips? I isolated the affected plants,…

What more can I do to fight thrips? I isolated the affected plants, wiped all the leaves and stems down each week and gave them a proper rinse in the shower with a sponge every two weeks to make sure I was getting as much as possible following the app. However, after 8+ weeks the leaves are still forming brown spots including new growth, and I still find tiny thrips munching away on the top of leaves! Is there something I'm not doing?

Beneficial predatory mites? As well as nematodes. Otherwise a systemic if you can get it in your area

I’ve been using doktor doom (in addition to what you’re already doing). It only kills adults so you’ll have to keep it up for a while but seems to be working for me so far

You probably need to be spraying/wiping more often. Likely at least twice a week.
