# My hyacinth bulbs were doing well until I noticed these issues today……

My hyacinth bulbs were doing well until I noticed these issues today…

I planted 2 bulbs like 7wks ago and this morning one of them has a dark hole on its leaf, and the other one is opening up but looks brown inside? Is this normal or is it rotting? Surely it shouldn’t look like that inside?

I also read somewhere that they go dormant over summer, which is basically now.. did I just plant them at the wrong time of year?

Any advice welcome, I don’t want them to die🫣
