I got this weeping fig a week or two ago, and I’ve just noticed this mildew-like stuff on it. When I scratch it it rubs off, and it’s definitely not a living insect as far as I can see. Any ideas? Thank you!

I’ve noticed this on a plant I’ve just got and I also don’t know what it is, so I’ll also be interested to see what people think!
