# My monstera little monkey ear plant died back a while ago and it's…

My monstera little monkey ear plant died back a while ago and it's just been this little stem for a few months and now it like when I was trying to check it for watering it had completely separated from the pot can I save this or should I just throw it away

Disinfect it after cleaning all the soil. Use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect the plant, tools, containers and wash hands before handling. Place it under good lighting. Place in a container where the leaf nodes can stay covered with water and have room to grow. Use a liquid root stimulator to boost the roots. Fertilize with diluted fertilizer. Change the water once a week. Plant when the new roots reach at least 2 inches long. 🪴🍀
