# Hi! I think I may have over fertilized this pink panther and I’m so…

_Pubblicato da Plantessra il 2024-06-16_

Hi! I think I may have over fertilized this pink panther and I’m so sad because when I first got it, it was very bushy and small; super cute! Anyway, I’m hoping that somebody, anybody can help point me in the right direction on how to bring this girl back to her former glory days… I’m thinking I’ll have to pull it from the pot, wash away the soil on the roots and repot with new soil… any recommendations for soil type for this plant are greatly appreciated as well!!! Thank you :) the second pic is when I first got it.

I’m in the same boat with mine. I put it in the most ideal environment and it’s still being a butt! I’m going to let it dry out to see if that helps.

Aw man I’m sorry you’re having trouble too!! Yeah I’m gonna let it dry before putting back into some soil and hopefully it will work out for the both of us, I’ll try to remember to come back here for an update lol

They like really high humidity! Try pruning long and lanky stems it’ll grow in cute and compact again :)

Oh cool I actually just got a humidifier so that works out great! I did prune it and today I’m going to put it back in soil! Thank you for the awesome advice :)

Mine is outside, in the shade, in Atlanta! It can’t get any more humid.

It just wants a bigger pot and doesn’t need to be fertilized all that much. Don’t be sad or afraid to give it a hard prune, they grow so prolifically.
