I have really neglected this orchid, now I’m trying to bring it back. Do you think it’s salvageable? I believe it’s growing mold, I sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide, any other tips? Thanks

if it’s mealys you’ll see them — they look like white lint

show us the roots! you’ll want to remove anything dark, flattened, mushy. healthy orchid roots are green (or silvery if they’re healthy but dry)

if you have viable roots left, you could turn this around with a lot of TLC.

I would snip this and any others that start dark or black at the base of the plant like this — but it does look like you have some salvageable roots here! it will take time but this could turn around

hey! Eimi just posted in the Orchid Oasis group a rescue mission like yours and I think the photos they posted would be helpful for you to peep 👀
