It’s been in water for a long time. It might need some nutrients.

It needs good lighting and regular diluted fertilizer. A water soluble fertilizer is easier to use. Try adding a grow light.

A tricky problem! It does look like a pothos and none of my suggestions are guaranteed to work. Plan A would be if it has some decent Roots growing to pull it out of the jar and cut it back so when you planted in soil it has only short pieces of stem sticking out of the soil. Make sure the soil is well draining and give it some root stimulator every 10 days for a couple of applications then use the diluted all-purpose fertilizer as suggested by one of the other comments. Given some time it could be quite nice. Then again, plan B could be to simply cut it back a bit and add fertilizer to the water and see what happens. It's hard when you have so much stem and only two leaves. Personally I go with plan A and if it doesn't produce a beautiful plant it didn't look good to start with so you've lost nothing. I only try and rescue plants for so long. There's too many beautiful plants to waste my limited space on ugly.
