HELP! What on earth happened to my philodendron micans?? I brought it home 2 days ago and noticed some spots on the leaves. Today I decided to take a good look and almost all the leaves fell off with a light touch…

2nd photo is of the 2 leaves remaining, one old (spotted) and one new (red). Last photo show the spots on both sides of a fallen leaf.

Is there any chance this plant will live? And wth is it!!🥲🥲

Looks like a sucking pest, maybe thrips. Pretty bad infestation considering the damage. It has a chance, you gotta go hard on the thrips in the soil and the adults. I'd repot it. Spray it down really well (foliage \& roots) and tretreat with a pesticide. Check your nearby plants.

That's good. If it is thrips, they do fly, so you may wanna check everyone over just to make sure

I figured😅 I’ll be treating any plants in the vicinity just to be on the safe side.
