Hello. Does anyone know why my rattlesnake is doing this? It’s getting dried on the tips of the leaves. Thanks.

I believe these plants love high humidity, what’s that look like for this room?

I have no clue though it is near a heater.

My calathea is doing much better after moving away from heat source, it tends to dry the air out and they like humidity, maybe pop him away from anywhere where temps change a fair bit and mist, mine always has a slight browning on the outer edge, just difficult to fully replicate the humidity levels they prefer 🙂

in addition to lower humidity levels, this could also be from the water you are giving it - calatheas hate excess minerals and chemicals in their water, so you can use distilled/rain/reverse osmosis water to prevent this from happening :)

also, i encourage you to do some of your own research on misting plants and form your own thoughts/opinions; some say its beneficial, others say it can increase stress from the constant change of humidity, and even increase chances of bacterial/fungal infections
