# Hi! I've had this "cold hardy" banana plant for about two weeks and…

Hi! I've had this "cold hardy" banana plant for about two weeks and we repotted him because he was extremely root bound (breaking apart the plastic nursery pot and bursting), and now that he's in our apartment he is turning yellow and brown? We have humidifiers and a grow light and he's not near any AC vent. Other tropical plants are doing well in the same space but this seems off. Help?

Banana plants like full sun at least 8 hours. The yellowing looks like over watering issues.

My poor banana plant died recently after I repotted it. I'm so sad about it because it was doing so well in the smaller pot. Lesson learned on my part 🥹

Overwatering! Gotcha. How dry should we be between watering because the nursery told us that it was a twice a week water lol
