# Good evening all, My orchid of 3 years had a lovely bloom last year…

Good evening all,

My orchid of 3 years had a lovely bloom last year as per pic.  
This year however her leaves have sprouted from half way up and roots have started to come mid way rather than underneath .  
There are some buds on ready to bloom despite the change in her.  
Is there something I should be doing here  
Bigger pot ?

orchids like to climb, this is natural growth pattern for phalaeonopsis orchids. i would recommend looking up some photos of orchids growing in the wild, or those mounted on trees by humans
