# Just got this dragonscale alocasia. Unfortunately, it isn’t doing too…

Just got this dragonscale alocasia. Unfortunately, it isn’t doing too well and I noticed it has a mealy bug problem. I sprayed it with diluted rubbing alcohol and dipped a qtip with rubbing alcohol and dabbed it onto some heavily infested parts as best as I could, but I’m not sure if I got them all. I haven’t repotted the plant yet but I will very soon. I’m trying to separate some of the corms in the soil and start propagating them in case the main plant doesn’t make it. Any tips?

LECA. Alocasia do well in semi hydro and pests can’t lay their larvae in it. Best decision I made was to start switching as many of mine as I can
