Is this dead? I know this might be an obvious answer but I really have hope. This was a hibiscus and it had a really bad pest problem so i cut everything back and i tried researching to make sure I was doing it right. There was some green growth but i left for a 2 week vacation and it looked like this. Ive been trying to water and give it light as much as i can but i dont know if its worth the effort..

Scratch the branches lightly with something sharp, if the underneath is green it’s alive :) had to do this with my own hibiscus recently!
