When the sun comes out that’s when they receive it, and put them fertilizer and water it comes out quickly and the soil dries immediately, I have them on the balcony, I have nowhere else to put it. #### Sunny님이 2025-07-22에 답변했습니다. Morning is east light. Track how many hours of direct sunlight it gets. You might get 8 hours of direct sun if it’s facing south east. Try bottom watering by putting the pot in a container of water until the top of the soil is moist. This indicates mist of the soil is fully soaked. This will water the clay pot to prevent the pot from pulling too much water from the soil. You can also add vermiculite to the soil to act like mini sponges. Ok thanks ### Leandria님이 2026-05-24에 댓글을 남겼어요. Mine are blooming, a month after planting, and they were a Dollar Tree purchase. I’d say keep the soil moist-wet, never dry. If you want to see how thirsty they truly\* are, fill a large bowl with water \& set your pot inside. The flowers will likely drink/absorb all the water. You can also sprinkle on turmeric or cinnamon to encourage root growth. And a slightly longer planter couldn’t hurt! ### KathiB님이 2026-10-03에 댓글을 남겼어요. I planted several bulbs very early summer. that grew tall quickly. Only one grew a “bloom stem “ and it was heavy and laying down in the flower bed so I used some old thin metal curtain rods and loosely tied twine or long twist ties loosely. no other plant grew the stem that flowers. they are very tall. 1. why no blooms on 4/5? Do I cut them back before winter?
