# What does the black part on the top of the leaf mean? It’s not…

What does the black part on the top of the leaf mean? It’s not crispy. I’m hoping it’s not overwatering but don’t feel it is. I let her go a little longer in the winter, but maybe it’s under watering? Do any pests cause the leaf to turn black?

I have had the same thing! I propagated some of it (slow to root) and am just going to repot with a lot more substrate and add back to the one remaining leaf in the original pot.
