# Hey all, I have had this plant for a year, I’m not sure how to care…

Hey all, I have had this plant for a year, I’m not sure how to care for it, I follow the guides in planta but it’s not seeming to keep leaves. Is that a normal thing? It’s flowered and I got those clipped off after a while so it can focus on growing but it’s just sad looking.. I need help. It’s leaves dry up and get crispy so I’m worried I’m doing something wrong.

You could try a few things. Try switching to distilled water for it. You could also try increasing the humidity with a cloche or humidifier. You could try letting it dry out more or less between watering. Sometimes it’s just trial and error to figure what makes your plant happier.

I have same plant and it was getting dry brown spots on some of the leaves. After some research, I was over fertilizing. All new leaves are fine and no more additional brown spots after reducing.
