I got these plants about a month ago and I started noticing these bugs everywhere? It seemed like they were killing some of them, especially my strawberry plants. I think they’re attracted to the wet soil but I’m not sure. What type of bug is this?

Looks like fungus gnats. They lay eggs in soil and thrive in wet soil. Get some sticky pad traps and put cinnamon on the top layer of soil to prevent more.
