# I noticed these brown bumps on the stem of my new tineke rubber…

I noticed these brown bumps on the stem of my new tineke rubber plant. These don’t wipe off (even brushing with my fingernail), and it looks similar to more faint white marks at the top?? (See pics) otherwise she looks good!

Are these scales? Or normal? I haven’t dealt with scales before so trying to figure out what to look for and/or how to treat if needed.

I think its just the natural process of the stem hardening off
