Newbie here! My plant I recently got a few days ago leafs are turning gold/yellow is this a sign of root rot? Please inform me I’m new to plants!!!

Succulents should naturally throw their bottom leaves as they’re growing but make sure you’re letting it dry out in between waterings they are more drought tolerant!
