# Hey all - my money tree is dropping a couple of yellow and brown…

Hey all - my money tree is dropping a couple of yellow and brown leaves, but it’s also growing some new leaves on the top, so I guess the root is fine?! Is this just the time of year that it’s aging and dropping some old leaves?

Money trees can drop leaves from over watering. Your soil looked very wet. Did you just water it ?

Mine is doing the same thing..I haven’t changed it’s water schedule, and I’ve owned it for two years, and I’ve never had it drop leaves like it is now. Also, it’s dropping just the bottom leaves, the top canopy looks great.
