you should be able to just repot it and wash the roots w water and a little castille soap

Repot it and mix water and peroxide together and clean the roots make sure they is not no rot or mold on them then repot it

I’d remove it with your fingers first before disrupting the entire plant. Could just be from your water actually. Make sure to use filtered or distilled water. If it keeps coming back and you are still using filtered water it’s time to fully inspect the roots, change soil ect.
SOP is a delicate plant, I don’t recommend stressing it out unless absolutely essential
Also allowing the top layer to dry completely between waterings will help prevent the mold

Agree with this 1000%. If you repot and wash roots and all, it may easily kill your SOP. If you do decide to repot, wait until its current soil is super dry and the little “windows” on the pearls are completely closed up. That way, giving it more water when you rinse the roots won’t shock it too much.
