Can someone help please!! I’ve had this plant for about 2 months and it’s still alive but this is what it looks like.. Everytime it grow a new leaf it eventually just dies off. When I first got it it was so full and pink. I don’t know what to do.. Is the pot to big? I want to save this pretty baby.

I think my pot was too big and I also think it had fungus gnats bc this was the first plant I got which was a bad idea anyways. I didn’t know it had to have drainage holes.. So ya, I just completely threw it away but I did keep a node and I repotted it!

when did you repot it? These guys can be pretty finicky after repotting and drop leaves. The pot may be too big depending on what the roots looked like

My biggest thing with caladiums is they don’t like change. I water as soon as the top layer is dry. Sometimes I’ll leave them in water for a few days. I fertilize pretty much every time I water (more diluted).

Looks like it may need some more light with the color diminishing like that. Mine get “bright indirect” light for 12 hrs or more a day. But color leaving can also be from too much direct sun.

They appreciate pretty high humidity levels. Yours look like it might have some curling leaves. You could try a rock tray or a humidifier if you have one.

I think the pot may have been to big and I also think it had fungus gnats. The roots were soo tiny and the soil was still moist. I got rid of her but I kept a small piece.

I think that looks like a good size, as long as they had some roots/tuber you should be okay! I like to water with mosquito bits to get rid of the fungus gnats, just make sure to follow the instructions on the package!
