Anyone know why my mint leaves keep turning black? A lot have fallen off or been pruned already

It’s typically a watering issue with mint. My strawberry and ginger mint plants would drop leaves when they were getting too dry as the photos show. My watering was inconsistent. 🪴🍀

Should I water every two days or every day?😂 I’m in Florida

Water when it dries out. Check the soil each day. I’m in south Texas and have to water these small thin leaf plants every morning by mid summer. The soil dries too quickly. I should have repotted as soon as the roots were long enough.

Usually it’s either your under-watering and/or need less sun
