# Hi plant friends, any idea what might be causing the brownish…

Hi plant friends, any idea what might be causing the brownish coloring on my fiddle leaf plant’s baby leaf. Overall the plant seems healthy. I bought it about a week ago and it was in a self watering pot. I have since transplanted it to a regular pot. Thanks for your advice.

I’d say it’s edema from the self watering pot, good on you for change the pot, I’d make sure the soil is well draining and don’t water it for awhile

It’ll be fine now that you’ve repotted it. It takes a while but as the leaf expands, it’ll likely fade!
