# So this zebra plant keeps getting these big brown spots and leaves…

So this zebra plant keeps getting these big brown spots and leaves keep falling off. I always try to keep her soil moist but that doesn’t seem to help. Any tips or suggestions??

I would try a fungicide as it looks fungal. Maybe the soil should dry out more b4 watering. I really hope you figure it out as it is gorgeous!

I repotted mine in a soil with more peat because they’re so damn thirsty.  
It still does this but much, much less.

You can use coco coir as well.  
Both hold moisture.

agreed with repotting!^ i unfortunately killed mine due to underwatering, and looking back i think i needed to bottom water it since the soil was really compacted

These are one of the MOST dramatic plants I’ve ever owned 🙄😂 I’ve killed 2, so I stopped trying haha
