# Does anyone know why this one leaf is yellowing? I have new growth…

Does anyone know why this one leaf is yellowing? I have new growth and there aren't any issues with the other leaves. Google says it's just old and dying but what do you guys say

It could be because it doesn't have enough light or too much light. If you use any fertilizer you might want to cut back on the amount. It could also be because not enough nutrients. Bad drainage can also cause this for the water does not drain and it gets root rot or root damage in general. You can look up more websites to show how to fix it.

is it the lowest/oldest leaf? if so, itsprobably just making room for the new growth, given that its the only yellow leaf :)
