# Hello everyone! I noticed my cactus was starting to slouch. I took it…

Hello everyone! I noticed my cactus was starting to slouch. I took it out of the pot to check the root situation but I’m not very knowledgeable on the topic! Looking for any reason or advice as to why it’s slouching! It does get about 6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day, I don’t think it has been overwatered and it was repotted last summer! The pot has drainage holes and I use just a standard potting soil! Thank you!

I don’t know much about cactuses, but it looks fine to me. He’s probably reaching for the light and slouching towards the window. Maybe try turning him around every time you water, so he grows more straight
