# My snake plant that I rescued 3 years ago randomly started wilting in…

My snake plant that I rescued 3 years ago randomly started wilting in January. It has been perfectly happy up until now and nothing about its care has changed. I thought maybe I was overwatering and left it alone for a while which didn’t help but watering didn’t help either. Is it possible that it’s wilting because it needs a bigger pot? Thats the only thing I can think of

It could be rot or cold or heat.. I pic would help, if it’s near a heat/AC vent maybe move it. I’m not sure though, my snake plant is quite close to a AC vent and she is fine. Good luck 🍀

I would err on the side of underwatering. Snake plants are very tolerant to drought so you basically can't go wrong with letting it completely dry for a while. A safe bet is to de-pot it and check out the roots for rot. Is it directly on a floor thats cold? or potentially by a drafty window?
