# Help with my dieffenbachia! Leaves are dull aside from the new…

Help with my dieffenbachia! Leaves are dull aside from the new growth, placed in brighter light to see if itd help and used diluted peroxide (today) to fend off a few gnats Ive seen + any potential root rot/fungus. What else can I do to make it happy? Ive tried letting the soil dry more and watered well last night!

have you checked roots? maybe a repot would be good

This guy is a fairly new plant and I checked the roots as I gave him a bigger pot to grow into. Im wondering if its unhappy with the size change as well 🥲 he looked really healthy at first. Might check out his roots again just in case though thank you!

ahhh okay! I water my diffen every two weeks and leave it abt 5 feet from a south facing window and it’s doing great rn , hope yours does well!
