# Help!!! Some of our sunflowers are finally almost to blooming point…

Help!!! Some of our sunflowers are finally almost to blooming point but we noticed this thick, almost jelly like substance on some of them when we were watering them. Gross description but the best i can describe it is similar to a mix of spit and jelly. Some of it dripped off when we were looking closer at it. What is this????

Look up the Spittlebug and see if it describes what you have or if it’s an insect you may have seen in your yard. This could be the culprit.
