# Hello, fairly new plant parent here! I noticed these dark brown spots…

Hello, fairly new plant parent here! I noticed these dark brown spots appearing on my tradescantia recently, anyone know what might be going on? I’ve had the plant for around six months and hadn’t had any issue until now :( any help would be appreciated!

If it’s not root rot, then it looks like a bacterial problem

Kinda thinking the same. They don't like their leaves getting wet, which causes some bacterial/fungal issues. Go ahead remove the affected leaves, increase air flow.
