# I just received my anthurium from plant mail and I noticed these…

_Publicado por strwberry el 2025-01-10_

I just received my anthurium from plant mail and I noticed these whitish spots that are kinda transparent and they show on the back of all of the leaves. I’m suspecting it’s a type of fungus that could have happened during shipping but I’m not completely sure. I sprayed fungicide on the leaves in case, please help I just got this plant today 😭

It could also be edema from cold shipping

But to be safe I'd spray the fungicide every 3 days for at least 2 weeks. (Unless the pkg gives other directions)

Should be fine, cold be cold damage, you kinda have to accept these kinda damages with anthuriums as their leaves are really delicate, keep an eye on it and if the dots start multiplying and developing yellow halos fast then it’s a bacterial infection if it’s more slow then it’s most likely fungal. There’s also some great videos on yt showing you what they both can look like ^^
