What type of light is it getting? Also how do you know when to water it?

It gets moderate, not direct light. I soak it around like once every two weeks or so

It’s normal that it’s only bloomed once - they only bloom in the fall when the temperature drops

What’s the substrate? Bark, soil, etc?

I think its some type of moss? I’m not sure. I haven’t replanted it or anything. I was wondering if theres any way I could make it into a hydroponic. I don’t know if the roots are okay, theyre kinda clear and they have black dots

That is also a sign of root rot

Smell it and touch them.
If it smells like decay and is a little squishy to touch it is root rot

I would make sure it’s in a well ventilated pot with orchid bark in it. Leave your water out for a day or two before watering/soaking.
You do not need to cut the stems off if it’s a white moth orchid. I’ve found they will reflower yearly if in right conditions. They do not like to be to close to windows. Mines in a bright room about 5ft from the window. There is also a grow light nearby

Okay! do you mean a orchid pot, with holes in it and stuff? My orchid is in like a plastic “pot” I guess and then in that other pot.

Mines in a nursing pot and in a normal pot and it’s doing fine, but it’s had root rot before. I am going to buy an orchid pot since it’s better for them.

If you treat your orchid like a wild orchid I’ve found they do better. Orchids are supposed to grow on trees. So if you take care of it with that mentality that it’s not supposed to be in a pot, it makes it easier to care for
