Does it come off easily and is almost softish? It maybe be a type of symbiotic fungus which helps the plant

I haven’t touched it. So not entirely sure

I’ve had this grow on some of my props too. It’s almost crystal-y. Curious what it is too!

Looks like it’s time to put it into dirt now.

The white growths on your plant's roots appear to be root nodules or potentially root calluses. This can happen when plants are propagated in water, as they adapt to the aquatic environment. These nodules indicate that the plant is preparing to develop more roots, which is a healthy sign during propagation.

However, it's important to ensure the water is kept clean, as the buildup of algae (visible in the jar) or stagnant water could encourage rot or bacteria growth. You might want to change the water regularly and clean the container to avoid any issues with the plant's health.

If you observe any other changes, like a foul odor or slimy texture on the roots, it could be a sign of rot, and further action may be needed to save the plant.

I appreciate this so much ! I will definitely wash the jar out and change the water. Thank you !
