# I have lots of green healthy leafs but also a few brown and crusty…

I have lots of green healthy leafs but also a few brown and crusty ones!  
Is it because I am using tap water?

i use tap water and mine is just fine. try misting or bumping humidity

I agree. The air may be too dry for it.

Mine does the same thing and it's right next to a humidifier. They are little princesses!😆

Could be humidity or tap water issue. Tap water varies by locality. I think it’s lime that calatheas or marantas (can’t tell which from your pic) don’t like. Your tap may have minerals they don’t like. Cheap alternative that may help is a faucet mounted filter.
