Please don’t tell me this is thrips damage…

I just came home from a trip and I found my Philodendron had some discoloring on the leaves and these small brown spots. I have never had thrips before but after searching up some pictures of thrips damage I thought this looked a bit similar. I can’t see any pests but I know it’s extremely hard to see thrips and most of the time. TIA!!! 😓🪴

Ugh, sorry to report that that is in fact thrip damage, thrip damage usually looks like they are sliding down the leaves and spider mite damage looks more like pock marks

No!!!! I don’t see any damage on the backs of the leaves just the front. Do you know any way to possibly save this guy?

Hmmm, I’d probably wash it down in the shower front and back, repot into fresh soil and sterilize the pot (their eggs are in the soil) and spray with neem oil dilution for a good month, giving it a good shower every week to knock off any pests
