Help! It may have been a radical move, but I cut this right under the diseased pepper. I lost a bunch of buds. This is the second pepper that ended up this way. Can anyone help me understand why? And is there something I can do with this pepper?

It may have been a bit much to cut off the whole stem under the pepper, but it’s understandable. Be sure to check for pests that will eat into the fruit and stem

Would neem oil solution help generally like a broad spectrum prophylactic treatment? I don’t see evidence of insects yet.

I would definitely give it some neem oil, never hurts. If the issue persists check how much you’re watering it, and maybe check with the group again. I certainly don’t know everything!
